Covid Warriors
Our Organization
Covid Warriors an initiative that started with the pandemic under the guidance of Dr.Jayaditya Purkaystha along with the members of Inside Out and The Midway Journey on Aug 2020, a joint effort that led to helping more than 70 people during the first wave of covid, the initial lockdown era. Helping distressed people from Assam get in touch with plasma donors near them.
Cut to 2021 with the cases of covid rising again exponentially the frequency of the problem has increased with us having more than 10 requests a day, the work has been a challenge, and the responsibility even more. With more volunteers joining in and everyone working sleeplessly around the clock the situation has been tense but the work continues and will continue till the pandemic sees an end.
Our Mission
Our mission in the initial days was to pledge for plasma but with the complexity of the situation increasing, our work and responsibilities also increased, which also makes us venture into areas apart from plasma, areas which help the already distressed people of covid. Our team tirelessly works on increasing our database so that people can easily get information easily when required.
